Join an estimated 200 runners and walkers for the Annual St. Francis Hospital 5K Fun Run Saturday morning, August 25th. The race starts and finishes at the Weyerhaeuser/King County Aquatic Center on West Campus Parkway. Starting promptly at 9 o’clock the run route covers the scenic BPA Trail, part of the Ridge and West Campus neighborhoods as well as the West Campus trail. Registration at the Aquatic Center starts at 7 :00 a.m. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

The finish line will feature an array of refreshments, including fresh fruit from Trader Joes, freshly brewed coffee from Tully’s and plenty of water.

Each runner receives a “goody” bag full of treats and gifts from local businesses plus the official 5K run shirt. Five dollars from each registration fee will be donated to The Federal Way Boys & Girls Club making the community a real winner!

Awards for the top runners in each category will be presented at 10:15 a.m. at the Aquatic Center. Co-Chairs Kathy Schmidt and Scott Brown are coordinating the race and promises to post the results in the afternoon at www.festivaldays.org.
